Kinwell Connect Groups to Receive Digital Health Messages

Digital Health Messages, a free and secure text communication service from Premera to its members,* has been key to our efforts in making healthcare work better. Since its launch we’ve seen members take action with their health plan benefits.

Next month, we’ll be using Digital Health Messages to reach out to our groups that have Kinwell Connect.

What’s Kinwell Connect

Kinwell Connect helps remove financial barriers by guiding members to advanced primary care at Kinwell clinics. With Kinwell Connect, groups can drive down the total cost of care by up to 10%. Members can also access high quality care with zero-dollar care services. Kinwell Connect is included with all OptiFlex-funded plans and available to self-funded plans.

How we’ll use Kinwell Connect with Digital Health Messages

Premera will use Digital Health Messages to:

• Welcome and engage new members
• Reach out to members without a primary care provider
• Educate members about their closest clinic location

*The Digital Health Messages service is available to individual market and family plans, Premera Blue Cross HMO plans, and Premera Blue Cross employer-based plans.
