ASCs can be less costly
ASCs are outpatient facilities that perform a wide variety of procedures. ASCs are safe, offer high-quality care, and allow you to go home the same day. Procedures performed at an ASC can be 30 to 40% less expensive than inpatient facilities.
Some of these procedures include:
- Cataract treatment and removal
- Colonoscopy
- Biopsies
- Knee repair
- Total joint replacement
With the new ASC coinsurance benefit, members can save even more.
Personal health support services
All health plans include access to Personal Health Support services. Members can use Personal Health Support to coordinate their treatment and find resources for procedure recovery.
