Mammograms are key for early detection of breast cancer

Family history isn’t all a person needs to know about their breast cancer risk.
The National Institute of Health reports that only 15% to 20% of breast cancer diagnoses occur in people with a family history of the condition. Mammograms are an important tool for catching breast cancers early, when they can be most treatable.
