Changes to the Secure Inbox on Member Portal

What’s happening

Premera Blue Cross and Premera Blue Cross HMO are using a new vendor to support the secure inbox in the member portal.

Members will be notified of this change by site banners and a notification email when they receive a new message in their secure inbox. No action is required from members.

How the new vendor benefits our members:

  1. Offers a more modern solution that better serves our members while minimizing issues when communicating with Premera
  2. Integrates with our systems for a unified interface that streamlines customer service
  3. Aids workflow management and scales functionalities, such as mobile and onboarding a new group
