Dental Choice Network Significantly Expands with National Dental GRID
Routine dental care is crucial for preventing oral diseases and reducing overall healthcare expenses. On January 1, 2026, Premera is expanding its Dental Choice network by joining the national Dental GRID, one of the country’s leading national dental networks exclusively for members of participating Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. With the GRID+ network, we are nearly doubling the size of the Dental Choice network, making it easier for members to access in-network dental care and services no matter where they live or travel across the U.S. GRID+ will replace the United Concordia Advantage Plus network.
What’s GRID+?
The Dental GRID links dental networks of participating Blue Cross Blue Shield plans across the country, with the added protection of Blue-owned affiliate networks wherever local Blue plans don’t participate. The Dental GRID is managed by the GRID Dental Corporation.1 By joining the GRID as a participating Blue plan, we’re able to offer the GRID+ network, one of the largest dental PPO networks in the nation.
